Workers may be in residential facilities and community agencies and day centres, completing specific tasks and functions around leisure and recreation. While workers are responsible for their output, work is usually carried out under direct or indirect supervision and within an organisation’s guidelines.
By studying the CHCSS00080 Induction to Leisure and Health Skill Set, you will learn the basics of how to provide quality-of-life opportunities for individuals who experience barriers to participation in recreation and leisure.
Your clients may range from people with disabilities, older people, youth, children, families, corporate organisations, those in respite, and those with variable education levels and diverse backgrounds.

Over 3 month period, students at Australis College must complete 3 units of competency while studying to obtain their CHCSS00080 Induction to Leisure and Health Skill Set.
