By completing the Case Management Skill Set you will also have the option of continuing to complete either a CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services or CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services courses through Australis.

Over a 12 week period, students at Australis College must complete 4 units of competency while studying to obtain their CHCSS00073 Case Management Skill Set.

Entry Requirements

There are no general entry requirements to enrol in this course.

Skill Set Requirements

This skill set has been endorsed by the industry as suitable for individuals who:

  • hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in community services or health or related field or
  • have skills equivalent to the qualification requirement validated through recognition of prior learning process


This CHCSS00073 Case Management Skill Set is also nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).

Professional Development

This course can be undertaken by subscribing to the Australis Community Services Subscription Program for Professional Development purposes in which case you simply learn the course materials, however, do not complete the assessments.

Delivery & Support

The course is delivered entirely online via e-learning, recorded videos, links and downloadable tools and activities. In addition, you can attend optional periodic online group chat sessions hosted by Australian Industry experienced trainers and assessors.

Learners are required to undertake role-plays with their Assessor, and have a supervisor in their community services/health field sign their third party assessments to confirm tasks performed in the workplace.

Course Duration

We also allow up to 4 months to complete this course. You may require less or more time than this depending on your existing knowledge and how much time you commit to your studies. If you require longer than 4 months you may be able to extend your access on a month by month basis via a Rolling Re-enrolment (fees apply).

There is no set duration for students accessing the course via Subscription/Per Subject.

Tuition Fees & Payment Options

The tuition fee for this course will vary depending on the access/support options you choose.

Option 1: Community Faculty Subscription + Per Subject Assessment

Our Subscription Program provides you with access to an entire library of faculty-specific content for a low monthly fee (which you can cancel anytime).

The subscription fee is:

  • $16+gst per month for ‘Content Only’ or
  • $46+gst per month for ‘Content + Support‘.

You then simply pay a per subject assessment fee when you submit assessments. Your total course cost is, therefore, the subscription cost (for however long you subscribe) plus the assessment cost (for whichever subjects you actually submit). Subject assessment fees are listed here.

Option 2: Payment Plan

Students enrolling in the full qualification upfront can pay via 4 equal payments of $375 (GST free) per month = $1,500 (GST free).

Full qualification enrolments include ‘Content + Support‘, access to a personal tutor/mentor and inclusive resubmissions.

Option 3: Queensland State Subsidy 

The Queensland Government will, for eligible Queensland residents, subsidise your course fee. This will reduce your enrolment cost down to only:

  • $12 for concession card holders, paid upfront prior to commencement of study.
  • $300 for non-concession, via an interest-free payment plan of 3 x monthly payments of $100 per month.
