In this Advocacy course, you will learn the skills required to advocate or represent clients in the health or community sector.
This skill set has been developed for anyone with existing experience or qualifications in community services or health sector roles and are seeking to broaden their skills.
During the CHCSS00069 Advocacy Skill Set, you’ll learn how best to support the interests and rights of clients.
This is an interactive course and also includes extensive trainer support from industry experts to help you achieve your goals.
You will have the chance to attend weekly live online classes and also live chat sessions. During these, you will learn additional skills that will either clarify or enhance your learning from the course.
These weekly live classes and chat sessions will also give you the chance to ask questions and also interact with fellow students.
You will also learn the strategies and skills needed to support the interests and rights of clients, provide advocacy and representation services.

By completing the Advocacy Skill Set, you will also have the option of continuing to complete either a CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services, CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services courses through Australis.
There are 2 units of competency in the CHCSS00069 Advocacy Skill Set which are also contained within our range of Community Services and Counselling courses.
