The student handbook encompasses important information that a student needs to know when enrolling and engaging in studying with Australis College. It outlines the commitment and obligations of Australis College as a Registered Training Organisation, and the terms, conditions, and commitments required by a student enrolling at Australis College.
In addition to the Student Handbook, please ensure that if you intend on utilising either VET Student Loan or Queensland Government Funding such as the Certificate 3 Guarantee or Higher-Level Skills that you also download and read the appropriate Supplementary Handbooks provided below.
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a number which will contain all of a student’s qualifications and results achieved through nationally recognised training from 1 January 2015. Students will have access to their USI account from 2016.
You can either apply directly on the USI website, usi.gov.au and select the ‘Create a USI link’ or you can provide Australis College permission to apply for this on your behalf during your enrolment process.

The census dates of your program are outlined in our Schedule of Tuition Fees. These documents outline the number of stages (or semesters) in your course, the intake start dates and expected end dates for each stage as well as the relevant census dates. The Tuition Fee listed is the amount you will be charged at this census date. The units of competency you will complete during each stage are listed at the bottom of the Schedule of Tuition Fees.
